We are extremely proud of our amazing and hardworking team of practitioners, all of whom share a passion for early years education and believe in the ethos of Dandelions Nursery School. Our experienced team are dedicated to upholding the happy and nurturing learning environment we are known for at Dandelions.

GRAZIELA PEREIRA

MANAGER
BSc in Early Childhood Studies

Graziela began her career in Early years education over 10 years ago and has worked across a range of settings, experiencing and learning from different pedagogies and approaches. Graziela is a firm believer in ‘planning in the moment’ and views the children’s interests as the best basis for children to learn. Graziela is experienced in supporting children with additional needs and is the SENDCo for the Nursery. In her free time Graziela enjoys cooking, creating music on her DJ app and going on long walks around London.

SUSAN ETTOUBI

DEPUTY MANAGER
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Susan began her studies in childcare when the youngest of her 4 children started school. She has always had a passion for working with young children and enjoys the theory behind how children learn. Outside of Dandelions, Susan is kept super busy exploring the local parks and playgrounds with her children and cooking up lots of delicious food.

EMMA MECA

Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
(Training for Level 3)

Emma is full of boundless energy and you will often find her running around playing hide and seek with the children or dancing to music. Emma is currently working towards her Level 3 in childcare and it is her dream to set up a Nursery School in her home country of Albania one day. Emma lives locally with her family and she loves spending time with her two young nephews and exploring London with her friends.

EMMA ISLAMI

Nursery Practitioner
(In training for Level 3)

Emma has always wanted to work with children and young people and is studying hard towards her Level 3 qualification. She loves getting creative with the children through lots of arts and craft activities and getting her hands covered in all sorts during messy play. Emma is a keen gym goer, enjoys travel and loves spending time with her family and friends.

SHANAE HANSEL

Foundation degree in Early Years
(Studying BA honours degree in Early Years)

Shanae has been workings in childcare since leaving school and has nearly 10 years experience working in early years. She has worked with children from 4 months to five years of age but particularly enjoys working with 2-5 year olds. Shanae loves encouraging children to take a lead in their play and supporting their ideas to extend their learning.
In her spare time Shanae likes spending time at home with her family, reading and visiting new places, both in and outside of London.

AMY SMITH

DIRECTOR

Amy has worked in multiple start-up businesses over the years. Since starting Dandelions, Amy has undertaken trainings in Early years and has also worked as a practitioner. Amy now spends her time behind the scenes running Dandelions finances and looking after her 2 children.

HANNAH ANDERSON

DIRECTOR
MSc in Development Studies, PGCE in primary teaching,  BSc in Early Childhood Studies.

Hannah has over 15 years experience of working in Early Years education and in teaching in Primary Schools. She currently lives in Hove with her daughter and partner and visits the nursery regularly.
